Tuition Fees
Information from the University of Freiburg on General Student Tuition in Baden-Württemberg
Starting in summer semester 2007, students at public institutions of higher education and vocational academies in Baden-Württemberg are required to pay € 500 per semester in general student tuition. All students matriculated in an undergraduate degree program or a consecutive master degree program are required to pay the tuition fees.
For studies in non-consecutive master degree programs and postgraduate degree programs, the Albert-Ludwig-University is charging € 500 per semester in student tuition starting in winter semester 2007/2008 on the basis of the articles which took effect on June 1st, 2007. Higher tuition fees must be paid for selected non-consecutive master degree programs and postgraduate degree programs. Every institution of higher education and vocational academy which charges tuition fees is required to use the revenue from them for purposes of studies and instruction.
