Photo Competition 2009 "My Stay Abroad - Learning, Researching, and Working Abroad"
Over 100 students of the University of Freiburg participated in the photo competition “My Stay Abroad” and submitted pictures from all over the world. A jury selected five winning pictures from 26 photographs nominated for the final round of the competition. The jury was made up of representatives from the International Office and the former Career Center of the University of Freiburg as well as representatives from businesses in the region (AOK Südlicher Oberrhein, McKinsey & Company, STA Travel, Herder Verlag, Kienbaum Executive Consultants). Students were called upon to submit their best photos on studying, completing an internship, performing research, or taking a language course abroad.
