Orientation Course - Online registration -

of the University of Freiburg
for summer semester 2012

We, the International Office and UNIKOS, would like to welcome you to Freiburg. In order to help you get acclimatized to your new home, the International Office offers a special orientation course for newly enrolled international students.

What can you expect from the orientation course?

You will receive loads of valuable information! This course is designed to help you get your bearings here in Freiburg, and it is also a chance to meet new people.

The program includes information on:

  • Formalities during your stay, such as how to find a place to live, register as a resident, apply for a residency permit, matriculate, and much more.
  • Information on studying at the university (examination regulations, the curriculum, courses for international students, etc.)
  • Information on and guided tours of certain institutions at the university, e.g., cafeterias, libraries, and departments. And of course
  • A guided tour of and information on cultural offerings in Freiburg and the region.
     

When does the orientation course take place?

Summer semester 2012: from Tuesday, April 10th 2012 (1:00 p.m.) to Friday, April 13th 2012

Preview winter semester 2012: from Monday, October 8th 2012 (1:00 p.m.) to Friday, October 12th 2012

Where?

In the Fahnenbergplatz lecture hall (in the basement of the administrative building, Friedrichstr. 39, entrance on the right side of the building)
