Students can elect to specialize and write their master’s thesis in any subdiscipline of mathematics offered in Freiburg, including

  • Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Arithmetic Geometry, Number Theory
  • Analysis
  • Applied Analysis and Numerical Analysis
  • (Differential) Geometry and Topology
  • Mathematical Logic, Model Theory and Set Theory
  • Probability Theory, Mathematical Finance, and Statistics

Please note:
In the summer semester 2020 there may be deviations from individual regulations of the admission regulations, selection and entrance examination regulations as well as the study and examination regulations from the Corona Statutes [de].
