- be interested in the language, culture and religion of the Islamic world.
- want to specialize in one of the three regional foci Arab World, Iran or Turkey.
- have a very good knowledge of German (C1) and English (B2).
- have a solid knowledge (B2) of the language of your chosen regional focus (Arabic, Persian or Turkish).
- enjoy independent scientific work.
