Information for our Incoming ERASMUS+ Students

We would like to inform you about our current university's precautions and measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions and concerns.

Application

The University of Freiburg has exchange agreements with about 400 European universities.
If you are interested in an ERASMUS+ stay at the University of Freiburg, please apply via your home university.

Nomination

In order to study abroad within the framework of ERASMUS+ programme at the University of Freiburg, you must first be officially nominated by your home university. The nomination must be submitted by your home university via e-mail at europa@zv.uni-freiburg.de. The deadline for stays at the University of Freiburg starting in the winter semester is 10th June, and 25th November for stays in the summer semester. Once the EU Office has received your nomination, you will get access to our online registration by e-mail.

Registration

As soon as we have received the nomination of your home institution, you will receive an e-mail containing the log-in data for our study abroad application portal,
Mobility-Online, as well as further important information.
Please complete the online registration as soon as possible. The registration deadline is 15th June for stays starting in the winter semester, and 30th November for stays starting in the summer semester. We strongly recommend you to meet these deadlines, since the demand for rooms is considerably high and the situation in the private housing market in Freiburg is extremely tense.

Internships: ERASMUS+ placement (SMP)
