DAAD Hilde Domin Programme

Thank you very much for your interest in studying at the University of Freiburg through the Hilde Domin Programme, a scholarship programme offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). for students and PhD candidates who are at risk of being formally or de facto denied educational rights and/or other rights in their country of origin, due to their ethnic, sexual, gender or religious identity and/or their political or civic engagement

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that the University of Freiburg can only nominate students for a scholarship with DAAD’s Hilde Domin Programme who meet the following requirement:

You have already applied successfully for a place of study / as a PhD candidate at the University of Freiburg and you have received an admission letter/letter of acceptance; furthermore, you may not be already residing in Germany or the European Union at the time of nomination.

 

If this requirement applies for you please submit all of the following documents via email:

(1) Your admission letter/letter of acceptance

(2) Sufficient proof that you are at risk in your home country (personal statement, summary of documents, letters, emails, reports, or similar).

 

Prior to submitting the requested documents please read the information on the DAAD Hilde Domin Programme website carefully.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot answer your request for nomination if you do not meet the criteria mentioned above or if the information you have submitted is incomplete.

 

Please also note that – due to the high number of applicants – the University of Freiburg will only be able to nominate suitable candidates for the Hilde Domin Programme within the upcoming round for nominations respectively. Please refer to the DAAD Hilde Domin Programme website for further information about deadlines.
