Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility
Mobility with Partner Countries (KA171)
The programme Erasmus+ Mobility with Partner Countries opens the European Erasmus+ Programme to the world. In this programme, individual credit mobility for student and staff integrates the Higher Education Institutions not only across Europe, but around the world with a special focus on mobilities to the University of Freiburg.
Parallel to the classic Erasmus+ exchange programme within Europe (the "programme countries"), the focus is on the exchange of individual students and staff (incoming and outgoing). Participants receive a monthly grant as well as a lump sum for travel expenses, with additional support available for green travel and equal opportunity.
The Erasmus+ cooperation with non-European countries is based on the same principle as the partnerships with European countries. The cooperation is guaranteed by contracts with the non-European partner universities which must be approved for funding through Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility.
The University of Freiburg is successfully participating in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme since 2017.
