4th May 2024, 11:00 – ca. 19:30 o’clock: Discovering Strasbourg
We take the train to France together and discover Strasbourg. There we will stroll through the old town, visit the famous "Petit France" district and see the cathedral. Depending on how long we want to stay, we will arrive back in Freiburg in the evening.
18th May 2024, 11:00 – ca. 17:00 o’clock: Schauinsland hike and barbecue
The starting point of the hike will be the last tram station ‘Dorfstraße’ in Günterstal (it is the last stop of the tram going to Vauban). From there, we will take the bus to ‘Friedrichshof’ where we will then take the cable car up to Schauinsland. After enjoying the view, we will hike down to ‘Sohlacker’ where we will have a barbecue. After this long lunch break, we will head towards Kybfelsen and finally and then reach Freiburg Wiehre, our final destination. The hike ends at the old train station of Wiehre. The hike will take approximately 6 hours (long break included), the pace will be very relaxed.
24th May 2024, 14:30 – ca. 18:00 o’clock: Rosskopf hike
The starting point of the hike will be at ‘Georgsbrunnen’ near the Freiburger Minster at the ‘Münsterplatz’. We will head towards the top of the Rosskopf and go up the tower there so we can enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding us. After a break at the very top, we will start going back. The tour ends latest at 6 pm at the ‘Kastaniengarten’ (Biergarten) where there will be a free drink for those who want.
